John Carlos Story

"John Carlos Story" is a book about the struggle to become a black in the United States, while still being isolated in most parts of the United States. John Carlos is a member of the Olympic Human Rights Project. After winning a bronze medal, John Carlos and a friend who won a gold medal, a teammate, Tommy Smith, raised their fists, opposed the unification of race and citizenship. This book shows examples of sociology in everyday life that can be explained by theories and concepts focusing on the events they won at the Olympic Games.
