Jocasta as the victim of the King of Edps, Sophocles' theater "King Eddys" is often expressed as a story of "tragic hero". This story is truly tragic, but not only Oedipus is subject to a tragic attack. The same victim may be Jocasta's personality. Her and Edeps experienced many tragedies through the story. Moving the story to a different perspective may increase our perception of it. What is important is not to accuse Oedipus as a hero of a tragic hero but to condemn his role as the only tragic personality.
Through her own actions, Jocasta was a victim of King Oedipus; but more importantly, she was a catalyst for others to suffer. Moved by her own proud nature, her actions weave the net, and her and Oedipus are caught. The role of Jocasta shows how a crime of a person affects one's favorite person. Jocasta wants Oedipus to be happy, but she can not succeed because of her own shame. This is the universal truth of King Edps. We can not love the people around us freely and completely when we bring us private guilt and humiliation like Jocasta. Unfortunately, as Jocasta does, we may actually cause great pain in their lives.
Antigone is the daughter of King Josipus of Oedipus and Yoscata. The story states that the son of Laius and Jocasta, Oedipus killed his father, Laius, and became king of Thebes. Edipus married his mother Jokasta unconsciously and gave birth to a child. Therefore, Antigone is the daughter and sister of Oedipus. When Oedipus left the kingdom of Thebes, the son of Oedipus was too young to break the rules, so the kingdom was entrusted to Kryon. After that, the brothers began to compete who decided to govern Thebes. As a brother, Polynece believes that he has innate rights, but Eteocles banished him. Army diversification invaded Thebes - both brothers died. So, Kryon went up to the throne again
