Prior to the start, the diversity of Kudler Fine Foods was a six month planning project. Kudler's organizational structure is very personal and explained as a functional structure. Functional structure "Collect people with similar skills in department" (Gomez - Mejia & Balkin 2002). Kudler explains this by simply having different departments from Kudler (including store managers, department managers, professional department staff, shareholders, cashiers, baggage).
Management overview: Kudler Fine Foods Kudler Fine Foods is a gourmet restaurant founded by Kathy Kudler. Currently there are three places, Kudler is seeking further expansion. - Kathy Kudler, administrator of Kudler Fine Foods, made a big plan in 2007. Her strategic plan includes the opening of a fourth specialty grocery store. In order to keep her business growing, she developed a marketing strategy to differentiate Kudler's boutique from other luxury markets.

The above image captures the essence of the preliminary design model of Kudler Fine Foods. It provides detailed information on how the staff should be prepared to remake the Kudler Fine Foods structure. The store wants this approach to help establish the relationship between Kudler Fine Foods and its customers. The preliminary design model describes the process of attracting customers through data collection. The point of sale (POS) system is a major contributor to this process to ensure that Kudler Fine Foods achieves its explicit goals. Although POS has many features, it mainly helps to promote the Frequent Shopper Program of Kudler Fine Foods by tracking customer purchasing behavior. Data collection makes the shop highly aware of the purchasing habits of certain customers. Kudler Fine Foods uses the information gathered as a marketing strategy to match customers.
