Joan of Arc Statue

The symbolic memorial statue of Joan of Ark is in Riverside Drive, 93th Street, Upper West Side, New York. Go up the stairs on the east side of Riverside Drive and you can enjoy the scenery behind the statue. To put it more precisely, it is the hind legs of the horses' muscles. Joan of Arc was a symbol of the Catholic Union of the 16th century. When Félix Dupanloup became a bishop of Orleans in 1849, he sent passionate songs to Joan of Arc who gathered the attention of Britain and France, led a beautification effort of Joan of Arc in 1909. Joan of Ark was her semi-legend in the 4th century after her death. The main source of information about her is a record. In the 19th century, her five original manuscripts accusing the trial appeared in the old archive. Soon, historians also found a complete record of her rehabilitation trial, including the 115 French witness affidavits and the original French record of the Latin condemnation trial record. There are various modern letters, but three of them are signed by Jehanne in the precarious hands of the people studying writing.
