When her mother's employer pays a tuition fee to an elite private school, a black girl from a poor town in Mississippi takes a break. She thrived and then got a master's degree from the University of Michigan.

Jesmyn Ward's Men We Reped is a story about both. Men We Reaped released in 2013 is Ward's third book. (Her second, Salvage the Bones received the National Book Award in 2011.) It was a memoir of Word's own life, but RaaPedd focused on the man she lost . The title comes from Harriet Tubman. "We heard the rain falling and the blood came down, when we arrived at the crop, we harvested the dead." On the surface this is the story of five young people - including her brothers - Words grew up in the four years, loved and looked dead. But it is far beyond this. "The man we harvested", as the word said, the story of these five young people.

"Jesmyn Ward left her house for education and experience on the Gulf, but recalled her still, said that she grieved over in the most painful way. Through this emotional excavation, She is forced to see regional and ethnic issues that lead us to these early tombs.Incidental reading.-Natasha Trethewey, American poet Laurel, Saar and the author of the Earth Guard, Pulitzer Prize Winner

The man we harvested, Jesmyn Ward: Ward is one of the most notable writers of 2017. This book can not stand her reputation. This is a tragic record of the deaths of five black men who grew up with Jesmyn in the south of Mississippi. She carefully treated each subject (her friend, her family). Well, I am completing three books that make up the first work in 2018 (We have been active for 8 years, Ta - Nehisi Coats, Sympathizer, Viet Thanh Nguyen, Putas Asesinas, Roberto Bolaños). Before going to see Ava Duverney kill the game with her movies, I am also looking forward to several books, especially before returning to A Wrinkle in the Time.
