In Jeffrey Eugenides' book, Middlesex, Calliope Stephanide not only talks about her transformation but also the story that the world has shifted to a totally different entity. My brother and sister become my husband and wife, Greeks become Americans, and most importantly, a young girl becomes a man. In addition to being a revolutionary novel, middle sex is also considered a modern epic. This is a magnificent story that reproduces the history of recessive chromosomes entering the hero's life.

For my literature I read Geoffrey Eugenides' novel "Middlesex". It has a story of a decent sexual from Greece who emigrated to America. It shows a struggle to integrate into society and how to find that place. I enjoyed reading the book, Jeffrey Eugenides, which I wrote earlier, The Virgin Suicides. I am very excited to read his other books, especially because it is too big. I hope to be able to understand the lives of intersex people more deeply in society.
