The philosophy of the East and Asia includes various philosophies originating in East Asia and South Asia, including Chinese philosophy centering on East Asia and Vietnam, Indian philosophy centering on South Asia and Southeast Asia (including Buddhist philosophy) . Tibet and Mongolia. Indian philosophy refers to the ancient philosophical tradition of the Indian subcontinent (Sanskrit: dárśana; 'worldview', 'doctrine'). The history of Jainism dates back to the civilization era of the Indus Valley. The major orthodox schools emerged between common era and the Gupta empire. These Hindu schools have developed so-called "Hinduism Comprehensive". Hindu ideas also spread to the Srivijaya Empire of Indonesia and the Khmer Empire of Cambodia
Southeast Asia began to be influenced by India around 200 B.C. By the 15 th century the influence of Hinduism was absorbed by local politics. The kingdom of the southeastern coast of the Indian subcontinent has built a relationship of trade, culture and politics with Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, the Malay Peninsula, Cambodia, and not so much but the Southeast Asian kingdom of Vietnam. Unlike the Indian kingdom of the Indian subcontinent, the Palava Kingdom on the coast of the southeastern part of the peninsula has no cultural restrictions across the sea. This brought more exchange to Southeast Asia through the sea. Buddhism prospered and became a major religion in many Southeast Asian countries, but it disappeared in the Indian subcontinent.
