Jane Addams

Jane Addams was born on September 6, 1860 in Cedarville, Illinois. She grew up in Cedarville and then moved to Chicago and died of cancer on May 21, 1935. As a woman, she occupies 50% of the population. Adams is well known. President Theadore Roosevelt called Adams "the most useful citizen in America". She is a social reformer, internationalist and feminist, but she is best known for her establishment of the Hull House.
