Jane Addams

Jane Adams founded her friend Ellen Star and Hall House in 1889. Jane was a very thoughtful heart because she was a young girl. Wherever you go, Jane wants to help those who are not as lucky as they are. Jane's father helped shape her and made those unhappy people more charitable. Even a young girl, Jane wants to know why everyone does not live in a garden like her. One day she knew that part of the town had collapsed and could not believe that people could live in these "awful little houses".

Jane Adams was born on September 6, 1960 at Cedarville, Illinois on 6th September 1960 and was born as a social reformer, pacifist, feminist from the late nineteenth century to the early twentieth century. know. Adams is the eighth one of the nine children who are born of wealthy state senators and businessmen and are living privileged lives. Her father has many important friends including President Abraham Lincoln. In the 1880's, Adams had a hard time finding her position in the world. She suffered from health problems since childhood but graduated from Rockford Female Seminary in Illinois in 1881 and then went to medical school in a short time. On a trip with my friend Ellen Gatesstart, 27 year old Adams visited the famous Toynbee Hall in London, England. On 10th December 2007, Illinois celebrated the first annual Jane Adams Day. Jane Addams Day was started by a full-time school teacher in Dongola, Illinois, supported by the Illinois branch of the American College Women's Association (AAUW). Chicago activist Jan Lisa Huttner traveled during Illinois as director of international relations of AAUW - Illinois, followed by Jane Addams Day as Jane Adams' annual costume show.
