Janai Purnima is one of the Hindu religious and cultural festivals celebrated by Purwana (Full Moon Day) at Shrawan (therefore this day is also known as Shrawan Sukla Purnima).
On this day Hindus will begin to learn letters so that Hindus can read Vedas. To communicate knowledge, or "to lead to knowing its behavior" or Aadhyopaa Karma (to do research)
This is because Maharishi Yājñavalkya received Veda from Aditya Brahma (Sun) on the full moon day of Shrawan Sukla Purnima. That's why this day is called Veda Jayanti Diwas (or Veda Day).
Janai Purnima of the Nepali festival was observed during Shrawan 's moon. All of us Srawan and Sawan are the fourth month of the Nepalese calendar. Janai Purnima is known as Lakshashanandan. This festival Janai Purnima saw a pure and secure bond. This festival is celebrated by Hindus from all over the world. On this day, thousands of people visited Kumbhewswar Temple in the pattern of Nepal. They are immersed in sacred water, and these sacred waters are said to come from the sacred lake of Gosainkunda, located over 4,000 meters above the valley. During this festival, the courtyard around Kumbhewar is a very colorful charm. This is an iconic cleaning of the bathing center. Many people pay tribute to the beautiful gold and silver inspiration of this temple. They usually stay in the temple. But on this day the place is on the platform in the middle of the tank and can only enter along the narrow wood board.
By the way, Janai Purnima and Raksha Bandhan are the same festival. But the ceremonies and traditions of Janai Purnima and Raksha Bandhan are somewhat different. Here we will focus only on the Janai Purnima Nepal Festival. If you would like to learn more about Raksha Bandhan or Rakhi Day, please see Raksha Bandhan and Rakhi Day. In Nepal, the special menu of Gunhi Punhi (Janai Purnima of Newari) is Kwati. This day is also known as quattipni. Kuwati is a variety of bean soup, and Puni means the full moon day. Newarks also placed sacred clues around their wrists in another festival of Tihar Laxmi Puja.
