Jacques Cartier was a British famous explorer born at Saint Malo Port in France and Cartier's "early life" was not recorded until he discovered his great discovery. He is one of the most respected sailors, a navigator of his time, and his voyage left a mark in the world. Jacques Cartier made three major voyages in all these voyages and he discovered something new that brought benefits to the world around him during his life. When he was alive Jacques Cartier left his mark in the world, but Cartier's voyage found profits in the world we live in today.

Jacques Cartier is known as the St. Lawrence River found in Europe and also discovered the Magdalene Islands and Prince Edward Island. Jacques Cartier was born in Saint Malo in Brittany in 1491 and Cartier traveled to North America three times between 1534 and 1542. For the first time (1534), he insisted on the French Gaspe peninsula thoroughly, explored the St. Lawrence Bay and came home with two Laurentian Iroquoes to learn French.
