If Jack Chick's prophet asks for comments on influential and influential literary works, I think that ordinary suspects come to mind. Everyone's bookshelf has various old classics. Many famous contemporary works have won the Nobel Prize or the Pulitzer Prize. Until Art Spiegelman's Pulitzer Prize was awarded to Maus (Part 1 and Part 2), we were able to realize the power of literature in manga.
However, cartoonist Jack Chick only saw evil in "Dragon and Dungeon". Chick, a publisher of evangelical Christian cartoons, has created an album called Dark Underground City that portrays D & D as a demonic and magical game. In the story of Chick, the wizard (and very sexy) Dungeon Master brainwashed her innocent young players, recruited them for a contract and taught them to cast spells to their parents. One player, Mercy, was very frustrated when he committed suicide when the role of D & D died. "Dark underground city" was demonized by D & D and caused waves of moral panic due to inaccurate media coverage of young people who actually attempted suicide in the 1980s due to gaming attempted suicide reports. (This story is fictitious with a really bad television movie "Mazes and Monsters" starred by 26-year-old Tom Hanks.) The church group burned a dragon and dungeon movie on the street
Thanks to the Internet, I now know that the book we found is called Chicken Road, they are the creator of a religious American cartoonist named Jack Chick. Since its first poultry farm, I experienced it over many years; in fast food restaurants, rest areas, public baths and cheap motel dining areas. I have found them scattered in the Midwest and the south, and there are quite a few evangelical Christians everywhere.
