The advancement in healthcare in the United States is especially best in the world. We are always trying to prevent and treat diseases. The United States has the most specialized medical scientists and doctors in the medical field. According to Joseph A. Califano Jr. (2003), "The greatest strength of the health care system in the United States is to attract the best talent in society." (Page 18). Our healthcare attracts worldwide attention and doctors from other countries have the opportunity to participate in the US healthcare system.

All other developed countries in the world are receiving universal medical care, and the United States should do the same. It is time to reform the broken medical system and provide affordable service to all Americans. The role of the government is to provide basic care to all citizens so that we can live a high quality of life. I believe that the United States should receive universal medical care.
