Problems, trends, historical thinking Over the years, the treatment and prospects for mental health, psychosis, and developmental disorders have been a long way. Mental health refers to the state of happiness that individuals demonstrate their abilities, manage their daily stresses, work effectively, and contribute to the local community. Most people tend to define mental health as a lack of mental health, but that is not entirely useful or precise. There have been many theories and explanations for many years, and it turned out that many extreme things were wrong.

Before discussing these issues in detail, I first reviewed the trends of immigrants, judged the latest developments in more detail, and put them into a historical perspective. As we see, the current situation and the fears accompanying it are not unprecedented in history. In the previous case, it turned out that these concerns are not grounded because there is a possibility of being in the current situation. Table 1 shows the trend of recent attention. Compared to the past two decades, the 1970s was a period of increased immigration traffic, both in absolute numbers of immigrants and in size of the population. . From the late 1970s to the early 1980s, the number of immigrants and the population growth rate were higher than in the early decades.

Discussions on the role and meaning of cultural psychosis are not new and not up-to-date. In this chapter we outline the historical basis of the debate, examine the sources of current interest on these issues, summarize the theoretical views of empirical studies that guide the role of culture in expression, reporting, and response to mental illness . This chapter concludes by combining structural and cultural perspectives with traditional methods and investigates psychological distress and more severe forms of psychosis in poor communities.
