Isaiah Chapter 10

The constant I chose for this reflective paper is Isaiah chapters 11-9. The literature section before this article focuses on how God uses Assyria for the purpose of salvation. In Isaiah 10: 5, Isaiah explains the role of Assyria in the plan of God. Assyria is a rod of God's wrath. They used it to punish Israel and Judah. They were two countries without God, but they were full of idols (Isaiah 10: 6, 11). After God's wrath was poured into two countries, Assyria's heart was proud. God turns anger at his rod and punishes Assyria.

In his coming, Jesus will be the king of conquest and rule, the prince of peace (Isaiah 9: 6).

John quotes Isaiah 6: 10 and says, "Isaiah says he saw the glory of Jesus and talked about him." Isaiah quoted 27 out of 37 quotes among the prophets of Paul's letters.
