On May 22, PBS launched the "Great American Read" series and invited Americans to vote for their favorite book (or book) from the following 100 finalists.

PBS is planning to announce 'the most popular book in the USA' on 23rd October. America will see this list for the first time today. It is time to start reading!

Prepare to compete with America's best books. PBS announced to announce a program called "Great American Reading" to encourage dialogue on the country's most popular and influential novel. This eight-part series explores the top 100 works found in market research surveys that require people to show off their favorite reading.
