Is the Killing of Animals for Research Okay?

Many people today, including biological anatomy scholars and physicians, are raising questions about animals' pain and killing for humans. It is morally right to dissect frogs and worms to educate high school students. Is it possible to use them for other purposes in exchange for the friendship and health that humans can provide to animals, and the benefits of life experience themselves, if it is unacceptable to use livestock as food? Why can not we create biogas heating, create blood and bone compost for organic agriculture, or make meat for human consumption?

Since humans are not animals themselves, do not the innocent animals feel the need to abuse, strike, and kill people?
