After reading and understanding the history of modern architecture as an industrial product, you can identify the type of process in the history of cities and communities. Still, these new knowledge brought me many questions: What is the architectural style of the city I live in? Is my old town a modern city? Los Angeles is one of the biggest and largest expanding metropolis in America. This is a city of many communities overlapping with history, culture and diversity.
Gloucester is an old town and a dirty city. Even the most modern buildings are old and dirty. This is a city that is often overlooked, ignored by councils and citizens, but I like the bright and clean Cheltenham city in the vicinity. I like to go through the streets and even the main roads. It is a city built on the river, which is a city that faces the river and likes to concentrate on the canal; once busy, it was a stagnant water. Tbilisi is a strange and eye-catching city. The red brick, the Byzantine sulfur bathhouse, the Ottoman Old Town are on the back of the finnish street and the quirky Soviets, after the independence modernism street. Taking a walk along the winding Kura River, visitors can see the ruins of Arab, Mongolia, Ottoman and Russia's dominance which were once the major trading sites of Silk Road. This is a visually confusing place. "Some cities make sense," a National Geographic columnist recently wrote. "That is Tbilisi"
