Is it a good idea to not read/watch the Harry Potter series in chronological order? If so, where should I start?

I am a little late for the magician. The third season began when I started watching this series with Netflix. It is the SyFy original of Narnia and Harry Potter. I thought that this podcast was interesting and relevant, because Harry Potter is a series of dramas often spoken in the media.
