Investigating the development of attention and memory of children I choose to help the development of attention and memory of children, but choosing insert puzzles and linked puzzles. I will start with 4 interlocking puzzles, the inserted picture will match with the puzzle and will gradually choose to work towards a larger jigsaw puzzle.

Attention problems of children with learning disabilities usually appear as short-term attention. Short term attention is defined as being unable to concentrate on tasks for several seconds or minutes. Parents and teachers are aware that many children with LD have the following characteristics. People with learning disabilities often have problems with attention (Kotkin, Forness, & Kavale, 2001). Their attention is often severe enough to be diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). ADHD is usually diagnosed by a psychiatrist or psychologist using criteria established by the American Psychiatric Association (1994). In spite of the differences, researchers have consistently found that there is an overlap of 10% to 25% between ADHD and learning disabilities (Forness & Kavale, 2002).
