Dental public health contributes to the community through research, health promotion, education and mass dental health programs. Endodontics is the field and specialization of dentistry, including morphology, physiology and pathology of pulp and periodontal tissue. His research and practice includes basic clinical science including the usual dental pulp biology, etiology, diagnosis and prevention, and treatment of the pulp and its surrounding tissues diseases and injuries.

The concept of health promotion is to emphasize health promotion practices based on community-based health promotion practices, community involvement, and social and health policy (Baisch, 2009). However, empirical studies seem to indicate that nurses adopt an individualist approach and behavioral perspective, and development of health promotion concepts does not affect nurses' actual health promotion practices (Casey , 2007a; Irvine, 2007). On the other hand, there has been much debate about how to integrate health promotion into care plan and how to shift nurse education from disease-oriented to health promoting ideology (Rush, 1997; Whitehead, 2003; Mcilfatrick, 2004 ).
