The letter handed to the Filipino is explained as one of Paul 's most kind and happy letters. In recent years, people have always believed that the concept of ancient Greek and Roman friendship may be particularly applicable to understanding this letter. This proposal has received some support especially for rhetorical criticism of this letter. Those scholars who like the image of friendship as the organization theme sometimes recognize the hierarchical level of the source of ancient friendships, but they still say that the "friendly" rhetoric in the letter to Filipinos is at that level I do not understand how it works.
