Intellectual Humility: Science

Obviously, the world needs more wisdom and humility. But how do we develop this virtue? Why are so many people so arrogant? Will our own prejudice prevent us from becoming wise and discreet? And are there prejudices that makes it easier to actually make us discreet? Which cognitive-oriented and personality traits bring superiority in knowledge humility - is stable from birth, learning habits, or some aspect between them? Do contemporary studies on emotions tell us what promotes wisdom and humility of ourselves and other people? Psychology, philosophy, and education experts are doing exciting new research on these issues, and the results have important practical applications. In the face of difficult problems, people tend to ignore objections and ignore it. Political and moral differences are very polar and sometimes even dangerous.
