Freedom of Knowledge and History of Censorship Since writing misprints there has been a threat to intellectual freedom. History has seen a violent review of what should not be published, sold and read. The struggle for intellectual freedom is long and complicated, and many institutions are involved in this process. For example, in 1954 it was difficult for libraries to import materials from the back of iron curtains. The post office undertook the role of the inspector, posted certain documents on the "unfillable" label and refused to deliver it (Newsletter, 7th January 1954).

The Intellectual Free Bureau is responsible for implementing the Intellectual Freedom Policy of the American Library Association. The specific purpose of this office is to promote the importance of this concept for librarians and the general public, as reflected in the concept of rights. Office publishes newsletter on intellectual freedom, book on freedom of knowledge, review and selection every two months. It is a question and answer from the school. The Asian American art alliance is a nonprofit arts service organization founded in 1983, enhancing support, recognition and appreciation for Asian American art. The Art Alliance aims to support Asian American artists and their groups and raise their awareness of the diversity of Asian-American art and culture. They provide professional assistance through information services, web and promotional services, publications, technical assistance, open forums and round tables, referrals and resource pools.

The Intellectual Property Department was established in 1967 to implement the ALA policy on the concept of freedom of intellectual property. It has a basic policy on free access to libraries and library materials.
