"New War" attempts to answer something "new" war and military theory by linking current speculation about the future of war with historical consciousness. The past may be an incomplete guide to the future, but since it is our only trustworthy compass, we have to make the most of it. This book is divided into three parts, each divided into three chapters. The first part provides a conceptual framework for thinking about the new war, the second part examines features and commonalities, and the last part deals with some military concepts that dominate the current literature, Examine the effectiveness of the strategy and the 4 th generation war.
