Introduction: In this research project we will examine the effects of perceptual discrimination and actual sex discrimination on women's mobility in academic circles. It is clear that gender discrimination affects the advancement of women in all aspects of society. Gender disparity is particularly serious in intensive occupations such as academia that take time. This research aims to explore the cause of gender difference to help develop effective solutions. My research questions are as follows. How does genuine and recognized sexual discrimination affect academic women?
Let's break down gender discrimination. Sex discrimination begins when people recognize based on gender. This is where many companies and individuals are in trouble. Based on sex and sexual orientation it is wrong to generalize observation, behavior, reaction, thinking of individuals too much. Sex discrimination on occupation may take various forms and scales. According to a study by LeanIn.com, gender discrimination in the workplace creates a large gap in the ladder of an increase in employees. In the entry level position, 54% of the employees are men and only 46% are women. As employees climbed the corporate ladder, the possibility of seeing women getting closer to the top began to decline. In managers, 63% of employees are men and only 37% are women. As employees continue to be vice presidents, 71% of the employees are men and only 29% are women. Equality for all people is the basic idea that our country is based on
Sex work is at work, scholars are no exception. In a recent article published by the Canadian University Teachers Association, they claimed that women have not yet achieved educational equality. Women's educational evaluation continues to score lower than men and the gap between female color and gay women becomes more obvious. Every day, female scholars are faced with the attitude of "from a mild rude and objective to complete ridiculous threats and intimidation." "This requires a new commitment to resources, behaviorism and solidarity to weaken the long-standing situation where it is difficult to solve."
