When I dream of motivating the Latin American community, we do everything we can to achieve these goals. We sometimes face obstacles that impede or make it difficult for us to achieve our objectives. American Hispanic people work hard in order for their families to live a better life. In order to realize their dreams, Latin Americans face many difficult circumstances. Latin Americans understand other Latin Americans and they feel they can succeed whatever they think when they see other Latin Americans succeed.
Latin American-Americans come to America to seek the same dreams that inspire millions of people. They wish to make a better life for their children. We can learn from the power, solidarity, and value of Latin America Immigrants are not a matter to be solved, but a sign of a successful country. People should be welcomed by neighbors without fear of strangers. "
I am also keen to help other Latin Americans in the community. Since I grew up in a low-income Hispanic community, I was affected by the help of other people. Now I can motivate and help other Hispanics, and I will always take advantage of this opportunity. I will help other Latin Americans who experienced the same drawbacks that I am faced and motivate me everyday. Indeed, working in the field of technology, especially in terms of infrastructure is a challenge not to have a background in computer science. I am fortunate that Berkeley manager guides me from the beginning and then I can make friends that I can learn. I am very thankful for the intelligent network that can grow and grow around me. Although I was not formally studying computer science, I helped my friend Ahmed write an algorithm book, write a program, and learned the data structure.
Growing up in Silicon Valley's low-income Hispanic community, Alexis has created its own perspective. Her career motivates her to keep progressing in the field of technology and to help Latin Americans in her community. Alexis is proud to be part of TechPrep, CODE 2040, and several professional events that brought together Hispanics and Technology. After graduating from college in a year, I did not know to finally select technology. I majored in mathematics and economics, and I am preparing for finance. I had no professional guidance or leaders until I began working as a financial analyst at the University of California at Berkeley a year after I graduated. My manager encouraged me to learn coding to improve my data analysis skills. His passion for data science stimulates me. By working at the University of California at Berkeley, I was able to use their resources on campus. I participated in the Python event, I took part in AmpLab's lecture and met some very cool people who are enthusiastic about big data.
