Insensitive Portrayal of Society and Cultuer in Disney Films

Disney is not such a wonderful world As far as I can remember, "Disney World" is part of the United States. Disney has movies, TV programs, songs, theme parks, toys, and fictitious characters. Disney is one of the greatest entertainment sources for Americans, which is why we achieved commercial success and influence in our country. According to popular critic Walt Disney Company's critic Henry Giroux, Disney's great success represents "the power that the cultural industry mediates and influences every aspect of our life" (19).

V. Many people are growing up with Disney movies, their fascinating songs, and fantasy about special prince and princess. In the article "Description of ancient characters in Disney cartoons", "Disney movies are handed down from parent to child, which brings new generations new values, beliefs, and attitudes ... "(Robinson, Tom) 206). Disney movies bring positive information to children; it also represents the negative impact of society. Disney movies support a variety of stereotypes and social dishonors that have influenced the social outlook of children from children to adults (especially girls). In today's society, there are many different definitions of how people think about gender type. I will talk about the various stereotypes that appear in Disney movies.

Inaccurate descriptions of mental illness in Disney movies are misleading and may lead to stronger negative stereotypes in society. According to Giroux, I have watched Disney movies for generations since my childhood. Disney becomes a widely recognized social norm, and socialization of Disney ideology can be realized from an early age. This gains a risk to society's value (Gerbner et al, 2002), as the longer it takes to see Disney's individuals, the more the audience will observe reality through ideology.

Through its fascinating magical image associated with the movie, Walt Disney affects the way children are introduced into social norms and values. Disney movies are seen by the society as a normal form of children's entertainment, socializing into the ideology that Disney believes that Disney can tolerate the audience by allowing it to teach Disney's social recognition without any problems (Giroux, 2002). The purpose of this study was to investigate whether depictions of Disney's psychiatric disorders could affect the perception of social psychiatric disorders. This research is practically important, it is expected that scientific knowledge will increase through its discovery and conclusion, and that society will become more aware of psychosis, especially the influence of media on Disney movies.
