The immune system consists of two reactions: adaptive immune response and innate immune response. The first line of defense against invading organisms is classified as an innate immune response and prevention of second line of defense and reexposure to the same pathogen is called adaptive immune response. The native immune response is called a nonspecific method of constructing cells and protecting the host from infection by other organisms throughout the mechanism. Adaptive immunity represents an antigen-specific immune response.

Pathogen infection is recognized by the immune system, which consists of two types of responses: innate immune response and antigen specific adaptive immune response. Inborn responses are characterized by rapid primary defense lines involving leukocytes such as neutrophils, monocytes, macrophages, eosinophils, mast cells, dendritic cells and the like.
