Introduction: 1. Note: In 2012, 7% of people over 16% were victims of identity theft, about 16.6 million people died. (BJS) II. Motivation to listen: The theft of personal information is becoming a big problem for consumers. - Everyone in the United States has opinions on gun control regardless of age, race or religion. Discussions were formed from these opinions. People are discussing gun control at work, school and sometimes at places of worship. One aspect of this problem is people who support gun control, such as certain politicians and political groups, teachers, and police.
Information Speech Information Speech provides viewers with information on specific topics. The purpose of providing information is to help your audience understand and remember the information you have offered. Students create a useful presentation of 5 minutes based on topics chosen by them. They must make sure that subjects are narrow enough to be fully presented in 5 minutes. (Eg dogs covers too many topics in 5 minutes - certain varieties of dogs like Labrador Retrievers may be covered in 5 minutes) Students choose a theme and multiple pieces of information Collect information from sources - they use books, encyclopedia, database articles as long as they can prove through the web that the site is a valid source created by the subject authority Or you can use the internet. Students read their sources and select three key points covered in the body of the presentation. 2
