Informative Essay: Cloning and Genetic Engineering

Unlike many questions, much of the discussion about cloning and genetic engineering concerns behaviors that have never been done before. A newer technique in genetic engineering has made it possible for scientists to open up the possibility of cloning more complex mammals and cloning humans. Despite the many potential advantages of this technology, the prospect of making human clones has caused a number of practical, moral, and religious dilemmas currently being debated in society. Currently, it seems that human cloning is unlikely to occur in the near future.
