In April 2015, Auburn University was approved by the first US Federal Aviation Administration to operate a new unmanned aircraft system flight school at Auburn University Aviation Center. Schools of aviation management and supply chain management are the only programs in the country certified by the Advanced Business School Association (AACSB) and the International Air Certification Council (AABI). The flight plan of Auburn was created 65 years ago, and is the second oldest university flight plan in the USA.
