Infographic: Elements of a Story Explained

Set: Story collection location and time? Set social and cultural conditions representing both physical and temporal (ie past, present, future) and role

Personality: human or animal, or anthropomorphized. You can have one or more heroes that have a secondary role mainly, but this is not always the case

Episode: The event occurring in the story is called a plot. Plots usually have introduction, ascending motion, orgasm, descending movement, and resolution. Plots are usually represented as circular arcs. For more information on the plot, see the article "What is a plot?"

Contradiction: All stories must have contradictions, challenges or problems underlying the story. If there is no contradiction, the story has neither a purpose nor a trajectory.

Theme: Idea, Faith, Morality, Class, Insight This is a core discussion that the author is trying to make the reader understand. The theme is "cause" of the story

Opinion: Who is telling the story? First Person ("I") or Third Person ("He / She / It"). Limited (character viewpoint), multiple (display of multiple letters) or omniscience (all know Narrator). The second person ("you") is not used to writing stories

Tone: The overall emotional 'keynote' or meaning of the story. Happy, funny, sad, depressed? Tones can be drawn in different ways through word and grammar selection, subject selection, images and descriptions, symbols, and combined word sounds (ie rhyme, rhythm, musicality).

Style: This is about things. Word selection, sentence structure, dialogue, metaphor, easy, exaggerated. Style makes a big contribution to tone

When analyzing paper in paper or paper, you basically are looking for "how and why". Whether the author uses the above elements of the story (or one of the above elements) and why they are important, or whether they will work, or whether you dislike them I will explain.
