Personal Presentation: Introducing Kevin Mitnick Initially, I was planning to study George Lucas as my creative genius. I fell in love with the legend of Star Wars, but I am not really interested in George Lucas. Then one night, I saw a movie called Takedown. This is based on the truth story about tracking and capturing Kevin Mitnick, one of the most notorious computer hackers in history. I was surprised now. After the movie, I started looking for information about him on the internet.

This article is written about Kevin Mitnick and Computer Hacking. It is divided into two parts. In Part 1 we will explain the relationship between Kevin Mitnick and computer hackers. It highlights the ethical issues related to various computer crimes, police investigations, arrests and imprisonment. It also uses moral theory to discuss the attempts by FBI to capture Mitnick and bring litigation. Latter part of this article will explain the role of professional software / hardware / application engineers in hacking. It discusses how such an engineer should use his / her knowledge and expertise to influence society. Kevin David Mitnick is probably the most famous modern social engineer.
