Drug indigest tablet test purpose Purpose: The purpose of this study was to find the composition of indigestion tablets and compare their prices. It can be seen that undigested tablets react quickly with hydrochloric acid and immediately dissolve to produce more bubbles. Introduction: Dyspepsia, also known as upset stomach or indigestion, is a discomfort or burning sensation in the upper abdomen, often accompanied by nausea, bloating, abdominal gas, and sometimes vomiting.

If you have too much indigestion, you often have medicine for indigestion because hydrochloric acid is contained in the stomach. These tablets are bases such as magnesium hydroxide, calcium carbonate or aluminum hydroxide. These bases are neutralized with acid. For investigation, I thought whether the acid concentration was higher than base concentration or more or less neutralized. Reaction with one or two low concentrations of reactants has been found to reduce the success rate of collisions as the particles scatter and collide with each other less frequently. However, in reactions where one or both concentrations are high, the particles become harder and collide more frequently, resulting in an increase in the number of successful collisions.

In this project, we will investigate the reaction rate of indigestible tablets when hydrochloric acid is added. The variable you want to use is the temperature of the acid. (All background knowledge used in the project was obtained from past experience - notes and experiments on work completed in year 9). The reaction rate is the rate at which the reactants are converted to products. Chemical reactions can occur at very different rates (eg explosion, rock formation).
