Located in the downtown of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, the Indian Temple Mound is a magnificent hilly area created by prehistoric Indigenous Americans and is the center of politics and religion. Built around 1400 AD, this earth structure is now known as the mausoleum of the Indian temples. This temple's mound represents one of the most outstanding relics left by the region's earliest resident.
