Increasing the Age of Licensure

In June 2011, three teenage boys died in a car accident near Raleigh, North Carolina. Austin Flowers, 16 years old, is driving with a 16-year-old child Lane Meyer and a 17-year-old Matt Speight after a Sunday evening church event. According to WBTV News, the driver Austin Flowers is driving at 129 mph. Austin lost control of speed and hit a tree. All three boys went to Wake Forest - Rollsville High School. Matt Speight is about to graduate and will be 18 years old this week.

Currently, North Carolina does not have a teacher licensing program to teach computer-related skills. Teachers need to meet state education and licensing requirements.
