The US Department of Education and the Department of Health and Human Services are proposing policy statements on inclusion of children with disabilities in high quality comprehensive early childhood education programs. The purpose of this blog is to comment on the proposed statement. The position of the various departments is to ensure that all children with disabilities have access to a comprehensive and quality infant program and provide appropriate assistance to meet high expectations. To further promote this role, various departments are planning to publish policy statements on inclusion of children with disabilities in the Early Childhood Education Program.

The focus of this policy statement is on children with disabilities, but our common vision is that all Americans will be meaningfully integrated into every aspect of society throughout their lifetime. It starts with a childhood plan and continues to enter the school, the workplace, and the wider community.
• Collaborate with local educational institutions (LEA), schools, public and private infant programs to increase the participation of infants, young children, and preschool children with high-quality infant programs. More information and resources can be found in a joint policy statement on integrating disabled children into early childhood education. Finally, it is especially important for communities and parents to understand and use appropriate education for the beliefs of children with special needs and community leaders. Sensitive and realistic mention to the words of children and disabled people. Encourage faith-based leaders and community leaders to use the disability glossary (Appendix G) to help organizations understand the situation.
