In 1962, President John F. Kennedy became one of the most famous speech of the 20th century. And at the end of the decade I proposed to land on the moon. At the time of the speech, the only American to go to space was Alan Shepard. And it was a 15 minute orbital flight ("human to the prospect"). Neal Armstrong landed on the moon in less than eight years since the speech ended. However, few Americans have been able to tell NASA any achievements since Viking landed in 1976 since landing on the moon in 1972.
Hurricane Ike image 1. Click the image to get the full resolution. Image Source: NASA / JPL NASA 's Aqua satellite uses the data from Aqua' s Atmospheric Infrared Detector (AIRS) to extract pseudo - color visible images of these infrared microwaves and hurricane Ike suspended from the satellite Capture. The instrument image was created at 9:11 UTC 19: 23 UTC (3:23 pm ET). AIRS data creates an accurate three dimensional map of temperature, water vapor, clouds. All these are useful for forecasting. Ike is expected to produce another 2-5 inches rainfall in the eastern part of Texas and part of the western part of Louisiana, so that the total storm will be 15 inches. Rainfall is 3 to 6 inches and maximum 8 inches in the southeastern Oklahoma, southern and eastern Missouri, west of Illinois, northern Indiana, and southern Michigan.
What happened: This year NASA announced that their "Mars reconnaissance orbiter (MRO) provides the most powerful evidence that liquid water will flow intermittently to today's Mars." The station (NASA) discovered that hydrated minerals have a characteristic pattern in the flowing water. Why is this important? According to our creatures understanding, you need to have water to live. In my opinion, the next Mars mission we plan to land on Mars in 2020 will find life to exist now. This is just the beginning of the big initiative on Red Planet. Once you discover life, you decide whether it is the same as the Earth (based on the same coding system, DNA), and whether it has a common origin.
This week NASA has released a huge statement about the impact of Martian life: liquid water still flows on the surface of the red planet. Reconstructed data from the NASA Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter's High Resolution Image Science Experiment (HiRISE) camera announced a wonderful image with seasonal darkness and thin stripes disappeared dimly. These striped patterns are called "repeating lamp lines" and consist of hydrated salt, so it is confirmed that in the warm season, liquid water flows through the surface of Mars.
