Imperialism: China and Japan

For nearly a century, China has always insisted on modernization of Western countries, but compared to Western technology, China's technology is behind China. Taiwan was a Japanese colony that was under the rule of the Chinese empire between 1895 and 1945. After losing World War II in Japan, Taiwan was taken over by the then Chinese government of Kuomintang. However, even after the nationalists lost their civil war in 1949 and fled to Taiwan, the communists still insisted that the island is a force majeure area of ​​China.

The relationship between the ruling Chinese National Party (KMT) and Taiwan is not always easy. Taiwan was transferred to Japan after the defeat of the Chinese Empire in the Sino-Japanese War of 1894 - 1995, when Taiwan was the power in China mainland in the 1920s, Taiwan was a Japanese colony. Many Taiwanese people left Taiwan to join the Taiwanese revolution, joined the KMT, but some Taiwanese combatants fought against China with the invaded Japanese army, and some Taiwanese were in Japan I acted as a spy. Both China and Japan are adversely affected by European and American imperialism. But over time, Japan is trying to accept the concept of modernization to increase the power and strength of the country.
