Eloisa Raynault is a Transportation, Health and Equity Program Manager of the American Public Health Association that reviews and tracks the impact on health and fairness of transportation systems and policies and provides resources on these topics to the association's more than 50,000 members and Share with affiliates. She is co-chair of the Subcommittee on Health and Transport of the TRB (TRB). Raynault has a BS degree in civil engineering from the George Washington University and a master's degree in Natural Resources and focuses on sustainable transportation at Virginia Tech.
We are working with nine of the top five medical systems in the United States and top 10 medical systems. We are collaborating with top 10 health brokers who manage non-emergency medical services (NEMT). Our partners include some of the biggest players in the healthcare industry, such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, LogistiCare, and now Allscripts. This is a team effort currently required because of the complexity of the healthcare ecosystem. To deal with traffic gaps, you need to access the patient in a variety of ways. We work with our partners to study all delivery points throughout the care process - and fundamentally remake the way the patient is associated with the full range of care they need.
