Impact of the Internet on Business in the Middle East

Changes in corporate strategy, including the use of online collaboration, networks between individual users, and user-created content (referred to as Web 0) are increasing rapidly in the Middle East and worldwide new online consumer behavior. In the study of the new Booz Allen Hamilton, we found that East is functioning. Consumers no longer access the Internet to passively receive content but instead actively create content on their own. In this new era dialogue, companies need to know what is going on in the social media space such as the Internet, MySpace, Wikipedia, Second Life etc.

Business Model Innovation When I talked to a global technology company in the Middle East I was glad that their C - level executives were concerned about innovation of business models rather than technology. A business model is a means for companies to make revenue and can be used to defend against competitors, to recover profit in recession markets, or to develop new opportunities. There are few business models that are excluded from periodic review and review. Business model innovation is growing rapidly and may be the only top level business challenge faced by leaders.

On LinkedIn, I helped establish a new business in Europe and the Middle East - most recently the founder and head of the LinkedIn Middle East and North Africa sales solutions business. I noticed that by advising my portfolio company's leadership team I had a great opportunity to expand my learning from multiple business within the expanded super growth environment for LinkedIn. Early this year, I am honored to meet Thread Agreement CTO and foresight co-founder Andy Nguyen. Andy is an entrepreneur and an engineer and co-founded Loom, one of the most destructive freelance platforms, so that founder and freelancers can trade on company stocks.

I am interested in the current turmoil in the Middle East and how these crazy opium economies can affect his business. I asked him, "Which of the countries and cultures that you trade with you is the most difficult?" He shook his head as he smiled and said, "I will not do anything." While no politician can answer the same question or success so much, the challenges of the global power broker are quite different, eliminating obstacles to "difficulties".
