Bill Moyer: Like in that country, the country dies with so many lies. As the founder of our republic knew this and gave us the first amendment, the United States could safely suggest a secondary opinion that would dispute the official lie. As we all have the ability to deceive ourselves, each one of us needs a personal first fix that it works. It protects quiet and fragile voices, occasionally saying "It is not so, it is not true" Thoreau talks about the travelers who came to the edge of the swamp by horse riding. He asked if the young locals have a solid bottom and said that it is that
Bill Moyers: I am Bill Moyers. In this radio show we will look at how fraud affects some of our recent major events and how self-deception affects our personal life and public mind . My colleagues and I have studied why people trusted in public life lie to us and why America considers such fraud as a matter of course. Is the lie so paralyzed that the heart of the public is saturated so much? Or are we really addicted to cheating? We are still healing the country from Vietnamese lies and Watergate affair, but long time Ronald Reagan divorce is the most popular president and most Americans think he lied to Iranian scandal I believe it. Oliver North acknowledged that he lied to Congress and became millions of heroes. Something happened here. Public lies weaken your power, and my free men and women make smart choices. Why is this happening? Can the country die with too many lies?
I recently saw the documentary and Bill Mois began reporting on the shadow government behind Iran's opposition during the term of President Ronald Reagan in the late 1980s. Reagan is lying to report repeatedly. Congressional testimony usually denies his lies within a week. Sometimes in a few days. Why is he not impeached? He should be thrown into federal prison. He violated the laws of his office. Congress is responsible for taking action. The news agencies are responsible for action. On the contrary, people in this country are forced to become idols of this customary liar.
