Many old buildings protected by law are part of the country's history. Some people think that they should be beaten and replaced with news. How important is it to maintain old buildings? Should history prevent progress?

In fact, some governments currently protect many historic buildings. We believe that protecting these old buildings is considered a waste of money as a group of people needs to remove these old buildings and replace them with new buildings. I personally think that maintaining old buildings is essential. Because the building has many historical values.

Because historic buildings have historical value, protection is considered important. In certain countries, many buildings are to be seen witnessing certain special or tragic moments, so it is necessary to keep them. An example is the Fatahilla Museum in the center of Jakarta, Indonesia. It was an old building built in the 18th century Dutch colonial era, once used as a prison to punish the rebellion. New skyscrapers are emerging in the surrounding area, but some cities are still protecting their historic buildings.
