Technology affects the relationship between business, education, and social life. Firstly, the telephone and the internet allow merchants from different countries to talk to each other without meeting each other. Secondly, services like Skype create new possibilities for relationships between students and teachers. For example, students are able to take video lessons with teachers from different cities and countries. Finally, many people use social networks such as Facebook to make new friends, find people who have a common interest, and communicate via computer rather than face to face.

On the one hand, these movements may be very positive. Cooperation among people from different countries is much more difficult if communication is confined to written or telegram. Today, dialogue via email, phone, or video is about as good as face-to-face meeting. Also, many of us can benefit from these dialogues from the workplace and the social environment. On the other hand, the availability of new communication technologies can also lead to isolation and interfere with actual interaction. For example, in the real world, many young people do not mix with friends, they choose to make friends online. These "virtual" relationships do not replace true friendship relationships.

In short, technology has completely changed the communication between people, but not all results of this revolution are positive.
