A: A few months ago, I went to Crete in Greece. We live in a small town called Xania, a small town on the northwestern coast of Crete. This is a picturesque town with a small cobbled road, a big harbor and many old buildings. I took a week off with my husband Brandon.

We arrived there by various means of transport, went to the airport by train, went on a 4 hour flight, and went by taxi from the airport for 20 minutes to our place of residence. The whole process will take about 8 hours to move from the door to the door. This is a little longer than expected, but there is no big delay, but I appreciate goodness

I really like to stay there because I have not had a vacation for many years and I have to stop working. Xania itself has a long and fascinating history, but I went to a local art museum and learned more. I spent a lot of time reading and swimming at the sea, and I have to admit that it was much colder than I thought. I like to eat delicious Crete cuisine and take a walk in the ancient street of the town.

One of my favorite things is to go to a restaurant called Xalkina where there is live music from Crete every evening. Musicians are playing instruments I have never seen before, and I like the style and rhythm of the music they play. Next time I may work hard to see a wonderful sight of other parts of Crete, but I certainly will return to Crete someday.
