Identifying Rhetorical Choices

The text I chose for rhetorical analysis was Frederick Douglas who learns to read and write. I understood that I like Douglas style very much. He has a very dark way to convey his message, but there is a touch of humor. The personal experience of his reading and writing is a very dangerous experience, but in most cases, he maintains a relaxed attitude, not the fear of the story being told. In that process, he depicted a bit of his determination and persistence, I think he did not satisfy my bitterness. This makes the story easier to read, and unfortunately it will not be attractive. I think this is the hope of Douglas.

Douglas chose to popularize his work for a wide audience. He did not fill in texts about hatred and contempt, but he told his story. He spread out some painful details, but did not ask for sympathy with the reader

Douglas used many anecdotes to make his story sometimes funny. For example, he handed the bread to a poor white boy to read the course soon. Another anecdote is to tell them that he can write more letters when he directs to teach him to write. Under the influence of the challenge, the other boys will write more letters, and Douglas generously absorbed the letters. There are many examples of spirit, signs, and tragic charm. He behaves as though they do not know what they are talking about as they may be dangerous and try to tempt him in a trap

These are just a few of the rhetorical choices that Douglas made in a highly persuasive statement about how he wrote.

This last rhetorical choice is very similar to the first two rhetorical choices I mentioned earlier, but it is still a rhetorical choice, it has that purpose in the article It is.
