As a freshman at the University of East Carolina, I know that I want to enroll in a business school, but I do not know what focus I would like to pursue during my 4 year study. Since I joined some sports and entertainment marketing courses and high school entrepreneurial spirit classes, I am interested in business. In short, the concentration of business school I am interested in includes marketing, management, entrepreneurial spirit, and small business management.
I first grew up in a coastal city called Ningbo in China. I went to Shanghai East China Normal University to major in software engineering. Like other college students in China, from the first year of college, I am busy adapting to my new life and making new friends. I am also investigating all the interesting things Shanghai has to offer. However, in my mind I want to go abroad to see the life outside of China. During my second grade, our university founded an exchange program with Colorado State University (CSU) where students can continue their juniors and advanced studies. Students also get degrees from two universities at the time of graduation. I applied but I was very lucky. This opportunity will allow me to explore my life in the USA and lay the foundation for my future research at the University of Pennsylvania.
At the University of North Carolina at North Carolina University on February 20, the Council, which I had been working for for 8 years, resolved to rename the former Victorian Governor Icoc Hall, Charles B. Iocock. Aycock is a famous "education governor" as he established hundreds of new schools during his tenure and raised salaries for teachers. His name appears in many UNC campus buildings including Duke, UNC Chapel Hill, UNC Greensboro, the University of East Carolina. Many K - 12 public schools in North Carolina State were also named after him.
