On Friday, November 15, 2013, I volunteered to join the campus and joined the homeless food operation with my colleagues. In addition to organizing foods into bags and giving them to those worthy of them, those I serve can also be understood through prayer and simple conversation. I am in contact with not only the Washington DC community but also the Catholic University students. Offering food to these people is a very rewarding experience and I am definitely planning to donate my time to a homeless food run.
Before I came to Andover Newton, I was the Executive Director of the Minister of Campus and the University Christian Secretariat, the Protestant Campus Minister of the Bishop of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Before and after, I served in various roles at the Harvard University Memorial Church. These experiences have gone through a long way towards making me skeptical of the organized religion. In critics' higher education environment, this is not unusual. Life I will not let them believe it, but who really said that, really? That means ... really?
At the university, I found my place at the Wesley Foundation of Methodist Department. I have participated in several large campus departments several times, but I feel they are in the crowd and keeping the seats in warm ass. At the Wesley Foundation, we have a wonderful friendship. Some of them remained strong for nine years after graduation. At the Wesley Foundation Campus Minister, I found a relationship between a high school pastor and my childhood pastor. Someone can talk about something and seek reasonable advice
