Los Angeles California Temple is the second largest temple operated by the Latter-day Saints Jesus Christ Church in Santa Monica Boulevard near Westwood in Los Angeles. It is the first LDS temple built in 1956 and built in California, the world's largest temple. Due to the multiethnic population of Los Angeles various beliefs including Buddhism, Hinduism, Islam, worship of fire, Sikhism, Bahai, various Orthodox churches, and Sufism have been carried out. For example, immigrants from Asia formed many important Buddhist congregations and made the city home to the most diverse Buddhist in the world. The first Buddhist temple was founded in the city in 1875. Atheism and other secular beliefs are also common as it is the largest city in the western United States.

In 2011, the Canadian LDS Church claimed to have about 200,000 members; the Canadian National Household Survey of 2011 calculated about 100,000 people. Alberta Province boasts the largest number of LDS churches in Canada, accounting for about 40% of the total membership in LDS church in Canada and 2% of the total population of Jeonju (According to a national household survey, More than 50% of the population). 1.6% of Mormons and the state's population, followed by Ontario and British Columbia

I visited Buddhist temples in this region many times. If you want to see Korea, it is like visiting a Buddhist temple. I visited the cathedral of another country many times. If you want to see the country of Europe, it is like visiting the cathedral. It means history and culture. From the beginning, we walked with religion from art, architecture, music and so on. But religion from our thoughts and thoughts becomes too strong. For what? for whom? In order to gain power, they use religion. Then, powerful people use religion more effectively as a tool. When someone talks about religious matters it is difficult to say no. History proved this. Think of the war we experienced. When I saw the world map, the boundary line of Africa made me feel pain. It is like someone is carving with a ruler. Just like using a pencil and ruler to make squares and triangles. How can we shape the boundary line? Is this the character of mankind?
